I found myself back in my hometown (where you’re always 17, am I right?!?) for Keilee’s Logan, NM Senior Session. I have to admit this one was extra personal for me. I always get invested in my clients and feel like they’re one of “mine,” but Keilee is really and truly one of mine. 18 years ago, she was the first tiny baby to give the title of Aunt, and I have loved her from that moment on.
When she and her sister were little, I called them my Baby Dumplings. I’m sure that’s super cringy, but I have no cares because this child cannot be graduating high school. She was literally born yesterday, and I refuse to accept this. She is not a full grown human being. Nope. Not happening. Leaving the room if you keep talking about it . . .
So without talking about any of the alleged facts about her being a actual adult, let’s talk about how she is the most photogenic bit of gorgeousness on the planet. More importantly, she has brains, bravery, and beauty of spirit.
She’s a singer, an athlete, a hunter, a loyal friend, a kind soul, and has the best sense of humor. I’m dying to know which college gets lucky enough to have her join its ranks.
Keilee wanted to do her senior session on the Canadian River, so we headed to some private property (with permission, of course!). We found a meadow with a beautiful trees, prairie grass, and golden sun and started there. After that we made our way down to the river and got some of my favorite shots. When she was in the river with that hat, it was 100% model vibes. Ahhhh! So breathtaking.
Baby Dumpling #1 Keilee, you have the world in front of you. May the ceiling today be your floor. May you have a chance to chase after your dreams fully and completely. May you grab those dreams and hold on. And may you be wise enough to recognize what feeds your soul and brings you joy. Never forget that you’re a Judd girl, and that comes with an amazing heritage and a crazy aunt that loves you like nobody’s business!
